More information from the Forty-third Congress on Depredations along the frontiers of Texas during 1873-74. Note that in 1872-1873, there is a complaint about Atascosa County robberies enough to “fill a volume.” Of particular note are the theft victims from the Victoria, Goliad and Refugio areas: Lafferty, O’Connor, Siddeck, and Annie Fagan Teal.
